WHO ARE WE
Better Than Yesterday Mentoring, Inc. was founded in September 2024 after the president, Diamond B. Frazier, saw two key missing components in a local mentoring program she volunteered for - personal development and financial literacy. Instead of overstepping the founders, she decided to address the need by creating a program focused on training underserved African American high school students for adulthood by facilitating personal growth and financial literacy workshops. We are committed to empowering our youth to know who they are, where they come from and provide the tools needed for a brighter future.

MEET THE president
Growing up in PG County to a single mother, Diamond B Frazier is no stranger to an environment lacking resources to further the personal development of teens in the area. Her mom had to learn through trial and error and passed on to Diamond what she knew, but there was still something missing - no financial knowledge or sense of self.
After years of unlearning behavior and doing extension self-reflection, Diamond has become the go-to for life advice and personal finance. Diamond B. Frazier now is a 5 year Certified Youth Mentor and Life Coach and a 10 year personal finance instructor.
Diamond specializes in helping clients achieve their personal and financial
goals by providing a client-focused, result driven, motivational learning approach and experience.
